COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 Information

The health and safety of our clients and employees remain our top priority. We’re closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the COVID-19 situation. We're also continuing to receive guidance from state and local government agencies and public health authorities to ensure the most up-to-date information and protocols are in place.

Promoting Safety During a Canine Company Employee’s Visit

What We’re Doing

We’re focused on keeping our clients and employees safe.

  • We’re continually educating our staff on best practices, such as proper hygiene and social distancing. We have equipped them with Personal Protection Equipment including proper hand and face coverings and are regularly disinfecting our trucks and equipment.
  • If employees feel ill, they have been instructed not to report to work.
  • Our no contact installation and service work is performed outside the home so we can complete our work without client contact.
  • Additionally, we’ve expanded our service offerings to include online consultations and Invisible Fence training done through the Zoom video conferencing platform. If onsite training is required, our employee will conduct training in your yard, maintaining social distancing. We’ve also created a virtual eManners obedience training as a no contact option. Onsite Manners training will take place in your yard, maintaining the appropriate social distancing.
How You Can Help

While we’ve implemented a variety of measures to promote the safety and health of our employees and clients, we need your help.
  • If you have a scheduled appointment, and you're experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, or have been in close contact with a person who has them, please let us know immediately so that we can discuss options with you to promote our collective well-being. We ask that you only schedule/keep appointments if you and your household members are healthy, have had no known exposure to COVID-19 and there are no self-quarantine restrictions for anyone in your home.
  • If you're sick or under quarantine due to COVID-19 exposure and need to return any equipment, please do not send it back until you've been cleared by a healthcare provider. You can return your equipment via the nearest UPS. Please do not bring to our campus as our retail store is temporarily closed.
  • Please exercise proper safety protocols including wearing a mask and social distancing when the installer/trainer is in your yard by having everyone maintain a six foot distance from each other.

Keeping Our Retail Store Safe

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, we are closing our retail store until further notice. We will accept mail in items for equipment that needs to be checked or you may drop it off in the drop box provided between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. You may also book an appointment for an on-site service call. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
